Welcome to Centr Align, the place where yoga meets Pilates to help you build strength, tone and confidence.
In this 4-week program designed by dynamic yoga expert Tahl Rinsky and Pilates instructor Sylvia Roberts, you will progressively build on your practice while aligning body and mind.
Added twist: keep an eye out for Luke Zocchi and Bobby Holland Hanton – the boys will be making a few special guest appearances to show you that Centr Align is for every kind of body!
Meet your Centr Align trainers
Tahl and Sylvia are your program instructors. They have designed Centr Align as a progressive program – with each class building on previous work to boost your competence and confidence. They’ll be pitching in on each other’s sessions throughout, and rolling out the mat for a few cheeky appearances from Luke and Bobby!
Tahl Rinsky – Dynamic Yoga
Tahl considers yoga her ‘home’, and her dynamic Vinyasa style has won dedicated fans – including Elsa Pataky.
“I love the way yoga makes me feel,” Tahl says. “It's a physical practice, but it's also a way of living. In my classes you get to work hard physically, you get to move around and sweat, but there’s also a strong element of focus and of stillness. I try and keep it light. If you’re new to yoga, try to enjoy falling over, enjoy the messiness, enjoy having a bit of a laugh. Don't take it too seriously and just let it flow naturally.”
Sylvia Roberts – Pilates
As an international ballet dancer, Sylvia relied on Pilates to maintain her body. Now she’s a celebrated instructor with her own studio and a reputation for bringing the burn!
“Pilates stretches you, strengthens you and moves you through every plane of movement in every class,” Sylvia says. “It really is for everyone and every body type. My style is quite challenging – consider it a serious workout and expect to sweat, but when it’s over you’ll feel amazing. If you haven’t tried it before, give your body a chance to absorb what you’re doing and really feel the benefits.”

Bobby will demonstrate modifications in some of Sylvia’s workouts, and keep an eye out for Luke when you hit the mat with Tahl.
Bobby’s Pilates experience: “Pilates absolutely helped my rehab after back surgery: strengthening my core, rebuilding my balance, and reactivating all those little muscles.”
“It also complements my other training – it’s almost like a building block. Weights, plyo, cardio, it doesn't matter what you do, if you introduce Pilates to your routine, you set yourself up for success.”
Luke’s yoga experience: “Yoga is a good way to stretch and unwind your muscles after doing some heavy lifting. And if you think it’s ‘soft’, you’ve got another thing coming! Yoga is seriously tough. I love the challenge because it’s a lot harder than you think.”
How does Centr Align work?
Centr Align is live in the Programs section, you can start whenever you’re ready. You can continue to enjoy the meals in Your Plan – there is no Align meal plan.
If you’re looking for a new challenge, or have been interested in yoga and Pilates for a while but want to improve your practice – Centr Align is the program for you. Here’s what you can expect:
- 4 beginner to intermediate level classes a week (2 yoga and 2 Pilates) for 4 weeks.
- Fully coached continuous classes, around 30-40 minutes.
- No equipment required – you can use yoga blocks or thick books as an aid in Tahl’s class if you like.
- Each class is unique and progressive, building on the work you have done in previous classes.
- Optional modifications in every class to lower the intensity and help you move easier.

What results will I get?
We already know that Align can help you reset, rehab, recover and provide a performance boost for your training. What other results will you see?
- Gain confidence and build your yoga and Pilates practice
- Improve full-body strength, flexibility and mobility
- Improve balance and precision of movement
- Gain muscle definition and tone
- Increase core strength
- Build a stronger mind-body connection.
If you’re more advanced in your yoga or Pilates practice, Tahl suggests using your Align classes as a reset for your practice. “It can be nice to dial things back and remember that there's always something new to learn,” Tahl says. “You can go back to simple shapes and enjoy fine-tuning them.”
Does the program include tutorials?
There are two key areas you should work on before starting your Align classes: your wrist strength in yoga and core activation in Pilates. Save these videos so you can come back to them any time you need a refresh.
Must watch: Tahl’s Wrist Warm-up
Must watch: Sylvia’s Ab Activation
Why put yoga & Pilates together?
We’ve teamed these two styles in one program because they allow you to enjoy the variety of two distinct training modalities while achieving similar benefits. They’re physically complementary, with the flexibility of yoga and precise muscle control of Pilates joining forces to make you practically unstoppable!
The mindful benefits of yoga will also help you stay calm and focused throughout the program and beyond. As Tahl says: “Yoga practice is about the ability to maintain focus and concentration, which later leads to meditation.” At the end of each class, you can spend as much time as you like on the mat in savasana (for you non-yoga types, that’s lying on your back, arms by your side, palms facing out) to breathe deeply and fully relax your body and mind.

Can I do other workouts while I'm doing Align?
You do not need to follow the daily workouts in Your Plan at the same time as doing Centr Align. If you do, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- You can choose to do Your Plan workouts on your free days each week.
- If you continue doing Your Plan workouts, make sure you're still allowing your body time to rest.
- If your goal is set to Build Muscle and you don’t want to halt your gains, stick to the workouts in Your Plan and do Align classes on your rest days.
Is this program suitable if I'm recovering from injury?
If you have been injured or have any physical limitations, talk to your doctor or physical therapist before beginning any exercise program. Remember that you can follow the modifications to lessen the strain and intensity of the classes.
