How does it work?
Centr 6 will bring you workouts 6 days a week for 6 weeks. Yep - it's the same workouts each week. It’s easy to track your progress with the ‘loop’ around each workout day closing when you’ve ticked off all 6 rounds. Complete all 6 workouts to receive a special message at the end of each week!
Why is there repetition?
Centr 6 has been streamlined to keep you in the swing of things and make tracking your progress easy: an exercise you struggled with in week 1 may suddenly seem doable in week 3! Looking for something less repetitive? Try Centr Ignite for a dumbbell burn with high variety.
What areas of the body does Centr 6 target?
Each workout will target your full body, though some days you might work your upper body a bit more, and the next day might be more core focused.
When and how do I change my level?
Training at Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced level in Centr 6 is as easy as watching a different trainer. In the workouts, Luke, Ashley and Rulk will be demonstrating how to modify the exercises for each fitness level. You can try the more advanced movements or lower the intensity any time you like.
What is the philosophy behind Centr 6?
Centr 6 grew out of group training sessions that Chris and Luke enjoyed doing with friends. The 6-week program is all about taking training back to basics and having fun with quick, effective workouts you can do anytime, anywhere. It’s a great way to kickstart your fitness goals and shows you that getting results doesn’t have to be complicated.
Who is it for?
Centr 6 is designed to kickstart your journey toward your fitness goals, whether you want to lose weight, get fit and toned or build muscle and strength. The program also works for any fitness level – Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. In each workout, just follow along with the trainer doing the moves at your current fitness level.
How do I balance Centr 6 with my regular Centr training?
If you’re taking part in Centr 6, you don’t need to do the workouts in Your Plan as well. But if you want an extra challenge, you may want to add a Pilates or yoga session to your week. And you can follow your regular meal plan during the 6-week program.
What do I do if I miss a workout?
If you miss a workout, don’t worry! You can either go back and complete the workout or simply pick up with the next day’s workout.
What equipment do I need?
All you need is a pair of dumbbells. If you don't have those, just grab a couple of cans, water bottles – basically anything that feels like the right weight and has a solid spot for you to grip. If you’re new to training with weights, start with dumbbells weighing 2-11 pounds (1-5 kg).
Where can I find out more about the basic movements?
Your trainers Luke, Ashley and Rulk will show you how to modify each exercise for your fitness level. To lock down more basics, search “technique training” in the Coached Workouts section.
Can I still do Centr 6 if I have injuries?
If you have a pre-existing injury, we strongly recommend you seek advice from a medical professional before commencing any new workout regimen. Once you have been given the green light, be sure to make any necessary modifications to cater to your injury. Send us an email at hello@centr.com if you need further assistance.
