In this Friday Reveal, experts Tiffiny Hall and Jorge ‘The Spaniard’ Blanco introduce you to their brand new MMA-inspired workout series: Power Sculpt.
Appearing in the planner from July 15 for a limited time only, Power Sculpt is nine weeks of workouts targeted to work for both women and men. Drawing on Tiff and Jorge's collective 60 years of experience, and from seven martial arts disciplines, it will help you tone your body with lightning speed.
- Power Sculpt is not just the perfect follow up for those powering through Gunnar X Centr, it's suitable for those at any stage of their fitness journey who want to take the next step by sculpting lean muscle definition.
- Female members on the ‘Lose weight’ and ‘Get fit & toned’ streams will get a Power Sculpt workout every Monday in their planner, while those on the 'Build muscle' streams will get it on Tuesdays. Men on the weight loss stream can access Power Sculpt on Tuesdays, and everyone else can access them in the Explore under Coached section. You don’t need to follow a separate meal plan, just stick with the meals in your planner.
"But what will the workouts be like?" you ask! We could tell you it will be a 15- 25 minute full-body session that can be done anywhere, with minimal equipment, but why not just try it for yourself?
Hit play on the video to get the lowdown from Tiff and Jorge and join in on your very first Power Sculpt session.
Try this Power Sculpt mini-workout
Time: 5 mins
Equipment: Dumbbells, resistance band
Bounce it out as you move with Tiff and Jorge between sets, staying loose through the hips. Like Tiff, you can use dumbbells and a band to add resistance, but it’s not essential. Take the workout at your own pace and focus on your form before stepping it up. Enjoy!
- Jabs - 5 jabs, switch, 5 jabs on the other side, switch again and pick up the pace.
- Mountain climbers - take it slow and steady until you’re ready to level-up.
- High punches - punch long into the air to sculpt those shoulders.
- Uppercuts - really put your body into it by rotating your hips and locking in your core.
- Hip raises - intensify the workout by adding a band and/or dumbbell.
- Hip raise hold + leg pulse - hold your hip raise for a 20-count or flip to do a variation of 10 leg pulses on each side with the band.
- Dumbbell rotations - this will sculpt your stomach and waist.
- Shadow boxing - increase speed as you get comfortable with the combos.
