The great thing about smoothies is that while they work so hard for us – cooling us down, helping repair and build muscle, keeping us full and fueled up - they’re so easy to make: blend, pour, voilà! They’re a big part of our lifestyle here at Centr and while we know you love the variety, you’ve also got your faves. So here they are, Centr’s top 10 favorite smoothies, as voted by you – with one special bonus!
1/11
Raspberry Coconut Smoothie
This is a simple classic. Not too heavy, not too light, big on protein and big on taste. Raspberry and coconut have been best buddies for years in chocolate bars, slices and more, so it makes sense they go great together in a smoothie, too.
2/11
Almond, Date & Banana Smoothie
There’s almost too much goodness for one glass in this smooth operator. Bananas provide carbohydrates that help you recover from exercise and the combination of almonds and dates not only tastes great, but provides a balance of protein, energy and good fats to further boost recovery.
3/11
Chocolate Espresso Smoothie
Hands up who has been ditching their morning coffee and letting this powerhouse fuel your day instead? A little caffeine is proven to boost your metabolism and fat burning, while banana and oats will stop your stomach growling between workout and lunch.
4/11
Creamy Strawberry Smoothie
This strawberry delight is a real hunger buster. While the strawberries give you that fresh kick and the Greek yogurt brings the creaminess, the rolled oats sneak in under the radar to fill you up and keep you rolling.
5/11
Coconut Green Smoothie
Forget wheatgrass shots, this is the new way to drink green. We kept the flavors in the color wheel with a Granny Smith apple, cucumber, baby spinach leaves and that antioxidant powerhouse: spirulina powder.
6/11
Chocolate Avocado Smoothie
You haven’t known true creaminess until you’ve blended an avocado into a smoothie. You’ll feel like you’re being bad, but avocados are full of healthy fats that are good for the heart and make you feel full, plus fiber to keep your digestive system ticking over.
7/11
Mango & Turmeric Smoothie
The unlikely combination of sweet, tropical mango with the spicy kick of turmeric is about as tasty as it gets. While we’ve all heard about the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits of turmeric, mangoes also deliver antioxidants, plus a good dose of vitamins A and C.
8/11
Choc Caramel Super Smoothie
What makes this smoothie so super? We’ve ramped up the ingredients – more protein powder, more banana, more raw cacao – so you’ve got everything you need for rapid muscle recovery. Plus, it’s choc caramel, which is always super in our books.
9/11
Banana & Chia Smoothie
While banana is a smoothie staple and superfood chia seeds deliver a thick-shake like texture, we think it may be the secret ingredient that pushed this smoothie into your Top 10: peanut butter! Honestly, we don’t know why someone didn’t think of it sooner.
10/11
Creamy Green Smoothie
You can never have enough leafy greens in your diet – and this is a great way to boost your intake. Baby spinach blends well, is rich in vitamins and has a neutral taste, so it really goes nicely with anything. In this smoothie, we love how it lends a freshness to the creamy mix of frozen banana and coconut yogurt.
11/11
Chris's Infinite Smoothie
When it's time for his post-workout refuel, Chris is not one to mess about. So do like he does: just get those ingredients in there and drink up.
