Memorial Day, always held on the last Monday in May, is a chance for Americans to give thanks to members of the armed forces who gave their lives for their country. The holiday weekend is also considered the start of summer, a chance to invite family and friends around for a backyard BBQ or hit the park for a picnic and party in the sunshine.
To help you do Memorial Day in style, we’ve collected some of our favorite BBQ dishes, simple salads, vegan and vegetarian options and all-round crowd pleasers – food that is easy to make, easy to take with you, and easy to share!
To top off the day, check out our collection of sweet treats.
